I dreamt that I had split personalities. Somehow we could separate into two selves and back whenever we wanted.

I dunno what happened, but we received this phonecall from an anonymous councillor. Yeah. She wanted us to do - somethingIforgot. And my other personality was very trusting of this anonymous person while I was more... cautious? I dunno. And we were like debating whether to go to this meeting thing.

And my mum, who was also in the dream, told us to get a life (or two).

Weird.

And so I woke up, and my first thought was - am I the real Baihui, or her split personality?

Ahh, so now you know who I'm usually referring to when I use 'we'. ;)

This is when you know you've read too much of the Loveless manga.

Today

We had NSW IT Quiz yesterday. It was incredibly stupid. I got totally lost at the mySQL questions or whatever. So I finished first, and went to CCA, and it turned out that all the seniors were forced to do it too, so the Secondary 2s could go home when they had finished the test in class since the seniors would only finish at 4.30. DUMB LARH.

We didn't have 2.4 yesterday cause it rained. And poor Ms Ong had gastric, so I think some of them stayed back to help her.

Today we took our History test. Blehh. Don't talk about it.

Before that we had Science SPA. I was lost. Really.

I just typed out an incredibly stupid Maths Journal.

We'll be having ART TOMORROW. YAY. Watercolours WHOOSH.

AND OM. DIIIEEEE. As you all know, Baihui is known for her art, NOT HER PHYSICAL ABILITIES. YES.

But I'm grateful for learning batting in PE. I have gotten considerably better in killing irritating insects with my rather mediocre batting.

An example would be yesterday night, when it was just after the rain and the flies came in to buzz near the light. In droves. One particular fly liked to buzz around me. I'd say it had a death wish. And since I was so kind and good, I decided to fulfil its wish. I rallied up the newpapers and batted at the fly. And it hit the wall opposite me and slid down, twitching rather nervously.

HAHAHA. SCORE ONE FOR ME. (Yeah right.)

I met Justin Ho on the bus home from Third Lang today. And the first statement I said to him was: wahlao you grow taller already, cannot recognize you. Yeah I'm so mean. He had no school today. So unfair.

I miss the times where I could sit in that little air-conditioned corner with Leonie and Kang and Gwee and the rest and laugh at the guys being short (or at least, me being taller than them). Now they've all gotten their growth spurts. No one much to laugh at anymore.

Except for Clarisse, and Quekie, and Shingy, and Vanda. Hahaha.

OHYES. About Japanese CA. It was disastrous, the first part. Especially for listening. I was sitting in the first row, just two tables across from the radio.

The radio made my table VIBRATE. SERIOUSLY. So I couldn't really hear anything.

So I was like, ane (elder sister)? Ani (elder brother)? Whatever lahh.

The second part, Comprehension, was damn slack. I finished it, and did nothing for like 20 to 15 minutes.

I got 33/40 for my Chemistry common test! I don't know whether to laugh or to cry. To laugh because I got fairly good marks. To cry because this was the highest mark I had ever gotten ever since I got into Nanyang.

I looooveeee chemical equations. <3

DIE. And those 3 questions were like, all wrong. Yes, so I'm going to get 0/50.

Now when I think about it, I'm surprised that I think: No big deal. Yey.

Rachel, Chenchi and I were arguing with Vanda to let us go to her nice, furnished, beeg house to watch the FMA DVD that Rachel had brought. The conversation that happened during the walkathon was mainly of this.

Vanda: NO.
Rachel, Chenchi, and I: YES.
Vanda: NO.
Rachel, Chenchi, and I: YES.
(repeat)

Vanda made Chenchi slopped her muahchee on the umbrella she was holding, then zzc commented that it looked like mucus, and that it was a good thing it wasn't GREEN. Ew larh.

Yay thanks Lifern for lending me your fan! :D

And Quekie our carrot mascot got third prize for the Mascot Design Contest thingy! Go Quekie the bodybuilder cum carrot! 210 was the 2nd highest fundraiser in the level, and got first the the Foto-whatever contest. Go 210!

Oh, and Rachel Tan saw her xinaide. Hahaha.

---

Vanda agreed to take us to her house. So she was walking. Very, very fast. I had to like run to keep up with her, and Chenchi and Rachel were so slow. We lost them two or three times and had to wait to let them catch up. Hahaha.

And we kinda watched 4 CDs, altogether 16 episodes, in one sitting. We be nice couchpotatoes. And there ensued peanut wars, where we flung peanuts about at each other.

I like Izumi-sensei. She be cool. :D She just about flung the doors of the military office open, ignored everybody including Roy (sadsad), and demanded for the Elric brothers' whereabouts. Her husband (frightfully muscular) pointed out the map or something, then she said something along the lines of, "Ooooooh. Very good. Let's go." They exited, and left the Military people all: o_o...

Alex Louis Armstrong is very, very scary. HE HAS PINK SPARKLES OF DOOM. PINK, of all things. Ew. Hahaha.

We agreed to go home at around 2, but in the end we went home at around 5 to 6. Nice Vanda's mother drove us to Coro where she dropped us off.

So here I am.

I smell stinky. WHAT IS SHE DOING DRAGGING HER POOR FRIENDS ALL OVER J8.

Chenchi was deliberating over whether to buy Spirited Away from Poh Kim, so Rachel said that Chenchi would do the scissors-paper-stone thing with me; if she won, she won't buy it. What quiz?

Quekie told them later that they were tricking them anyway.

---

Yay. 162 seems to be nice lately and comes soon at the bus-stop after I get off 74.

---

At least solve the issue calmly instead of complaining.

---

Track and Field Finals Part One tomorrow. :D

---

Fly kite fly kite all the rest can go fly kite,
Later kena lightning strike
BOOM.

Best of Me
The Starting Line

Tell me what you thought about when you were gone
and so alone
The worst is over
You can have the best of me
We got older, but we're still young
We never grew out of this feeling that we won't give up

Here we lay again
On two separate beds, riding phone lines
To meet a familiar voice and pictures drawn from memory
We reflect on miscommunications and misunderstandings
And missing each other too,
much too attached to let go.
Turn our music down and we whisper,
"Say what you're thinking right now."

Tell me what you thought about when you were gone
and so alone
The worst is over
You can have the best of me
We got older, but we're still young...
We never grew out of this feeling
that we won't give up

Jumping to conclusions
Made me fall away from you.
I'm so glad that the truth,
has brought back together me and you
We're sitting on the ground (sitting on the ground)
And we whisper, (and we whisper)
"Say what you're thinking out loud."

Tell me what you thought about
when you were gone
and so alone
The worst is over
You can have the best of me
We got older, but we're still young...
We never grew out of this feeling
that we won't give up

Turn our music down and we whisper,
We're sitting on the ground and we whisper,
We turn our music down,
we're sitting on the ground
The next time I'm in town,
we will kiss, girl....
We will kiss, girl!

Tell me what you thought about
when you were gone
and so alone...
The worst is over
You can have the best of me
We got older, but we're still young
We never grew out of this feeling that we won't,
Feeling that we can't
We're not ready to give up

We got older but we're still young
We never grew out of this feeling
that we won't give up...

---

I like this song, for some reason. And did covalent and ionic stuff. *nodsnods*

ITE was pretty uneventful. Ms Chi got pissed at us because we weren't listening to her talk about excel. Actually I don't like excel that much. The formulae confuzzles me.

Oh yeah. Then after that was the big flood. Of Secondary 1 students, of course. As expected, connections timed-out and the school IVLE server thing couldn't handle it. Please, it couldn't even handle around 40 of us, much less over 300. The poor Secondary 1s.

*prays* Please, please let the Chinese Speech teacher be sick tomorrow so we can go into the lab and wait for 9.45 to tick closer and we can sign up on the dot. Hahaha.

Then it was CME. We had our presentations and stuff. *squishes Eileen, Lifern and Renice for doing the presentation* <3 At least we didn't get bored off by her talks.

Mrs Tan didn't come for Art lesson since she's on MC, so we spent a whole hour discussing the Art SiA (at least that's what we tried to do), and kept being sidetracked, which ensued in:
-rolled-up paper fights
-doodling on the back of our storyboard
-and the whole group being in general chaos.

Hahaha.

Recess.

We had to do Chinese comprehension during Chinese period, so blehh. *stabs it*

---

Geography test tomorrow!

AAAAAAHHHH.

*keels over and dies*

*comes back to life miraculously*

HAVEN'T STUDY YET. So there was OM presentation today. Supposed to be. The teacher didn't turn up. Pissified. Yes, even though I know it's our fault that we didn't present last week. Sorry OM peeps. Not been concentrating lately.

Body combat was... weird. Let it never be said that Baihui has any sports-related talents. I borrowed Vanda's PE shirt, which smelled. She blames it all on her brothers. Nevermind Vanda, thanks for lending me the PE shirt anyway. :P

Band got Gold. Modern Dance got Bronze! Yay! *squishes* You all are the best.

---

I space out a lot during lessons. I space out during Language Arts. I space out during Maths, I space out during Science, I space out during Chinese, I space out during Geography, I space out during History. And you know that's bad when;
a) your grades are plummeting into the core of the earth,
b) you have not touched your LA journal for 5 weeks (no... it's dying ;_;),
c) you have not touched any things even indirectly connected with SiAs,
d) your grades are still plummeting into the 18th level of Hell,
e) your level of art is plummeting too,
f) you don't give a flying damn about what happens anyway.

When you see even Vanda being stressed, that's bad.

I vote that the education system be abolished and we should all grow up to be uneducated rude little tykes with a bad attitude, and who wake up every morning with horrible hangovers, and die at the age of 25 from lung cancer. Or something.

Sure, they talk about how the process is important and everything, and yes maybe in some ways it is, but OHLOOK, OM is still reflected in our report books! YES. ISN'T THAT WONDERFUL. And you know what, people still look at your grades and judge you on them.

Which school are you from?

How are your grades?

Must study hard arh, when you grow up can earn big bucks one, you know.

ButI wanna be an artist.

Cannot larh, artists have no future, better go and be doctor and lawyer, find yourself a rich husband, settle down and have 1919181810348 kids to get the baby bonuses, and then you can retire and get your CPF funds to tide you over until you get tired of living, then you die a dramatic death, go out with a bang, you know.

Superficial accomplishments.

Ignore me for I think I am gradually heading in the direction of early teenage rebellion. :0

No, I am not making sense.

I want to go back to primary school, where everything was so simple and innocent (um... quite).

HAHAHA. Go me.

---

On Thursday there was this huge, beautiful (though it terrified the crap out of us) butterfly-moth thing that flew in the classroom. And very stupidly flew into the fan. It rested outside our classroom door for more than 5 minutes before Audrey tried to touch it, then it flew away. We did take some pictures of it though, and personally I thought it would have looked nice as decoration for our door.

There's an Art SiA. Whodathunkit? Though this one seems considerably more suited to my tastes than the rest. Finally something that I'm interested in. :D

OM was sucky, as usual, we couldn't put up a performance since we thought we could substitute it with the tape recording furing the first day of the LifeSkills Camp. Obviously not. <s>Well, you can take this OM shit and stuff it up your --</s>

After school, I went with some others to Heats 2 in HCI. Note: 3.09pm, historical moment of Eileen crossing the bridge for the first time. Hm, I can't believe she didn't cross it before, since I remember her going for the heats last year.

ChaiPing broke her personal record and got first for Triple Jump! Yujie got third and Vanda got sixth for Discus! Congratulations you people! <3 Yes, I very stupidly offered my hand for a handshake when ChaiPing wanted a drink instead. *feels very, very stupid*

And, when I got home, I received this very angry call from my mum whom I had realized had been waiting for me to fetch me home. I had taken the bus instead. Now I feel guilty for wasting her time.

---

Friday, was the opening of the NYGetHyped website. Sadly not a lot of people seem very enthusiastic about this, and I think Rachel and I popped our party poppers a little too late. I dunno. My right ear went weird for a minute when I popped it.

Oh well, their loss. >D

There's one less SiA for Geography! *gasp* Finally they realized that SiAs were slowly killing us off. A little late, but at least they did it. Now, if other subjects' could just do that to...

The nominated OM groups had to go off during second recess for the Spontaneous Problems at ACS(I) today, so I hope everything went well. During LA (which was after the second recess), we just sat and talked to Mrs. Heng. o_o

The Flash instructor came in again, ugh. So we (the people who didn't take the course) were forced out again, and we had to go to the Mac lab, where I seriously did nothing but surfed through websites until Mr Lim noticed me doing nothing and pulled me along for Mother's Day card designs. Which are due on Thursday. Wtf?

I NEED PHOTOSHOP NOW.

I GOT TO USE A WACOM TABLET. Haha, so cool. Seriously, I never knew the school HAD tablets. Now is the time where I cackle evilly to myself and attempt to get the tablet all to myself. See Rachel Tan, what did you miss? Had a lot of fun drawing nonsensical things. Yeah, but it's very old and dying - the edges are all fading. You can't see anything in those faded to black areas at all. BUT STILL. I got to use a tablet, with those neat twiddly pens.

The inside for a Mac computer is so.. stylish. Not like when you open the Microsoft CPU and get flustered by all of the wires leading to somewhere or another. It's so neat and organized. Very convenient to change compartments, since you can see where everything is very clearly.

A couple of the seniors and I were goggling at the digital works on some website. So... professional. Now is the time where I can go and hit my head against the wall. Many times over.

I STILL WANT A TABLET.

---

I need new vocabulary - On Thursday, during LA, I was introduced to this fairly new word, juxtaposition:

jux-ta-pose
tr.v. jux-ta-posed, jux-ta-pos-ing, jux-ta-pos-es
To place side by side, especially for comparison or contrast.

Sorry Renice for giving you the wrong meaning earlier. x_x

Synonyms? Sure.
analyze, approach, balance, bracket, collate, confront, consider, contemplate, correlate, divide, equal, examine, hang, inspect, juxtapose, match, match up, measure, observe, oppose, parallel, ponder, rival, scan, scrutinize, segregate, separate, set against, size up, study, touch, weigh.

Taken from the ever trusty dictionary.com.

Yes, I have just realized that my vocabulary is very, very limited. Go back and count the number of times I've used 'very' in this blog entry.

---

To-Do List:
- sakubun corrections
- Maths worksheets: Linear graphs
- LA movie review: Hero
- LA book review: The Little Prince
- LA discussion: Creative and Analytical
- Science worksheets
- Maths IL Proposal
- Maths SiA
- Art SiA: mid-check on Week 8
- CME SiA
- Science SiA
- Chinese SiA
- Study for Math quizzes
- Study for Chinese test
- Study for Geography test
- Some others that I have probably forgotten.

Eeeurgh.

I suck.

There are hundreds of thousands of people out there who draw better than me. The last ten minutes were spent waiting around the Alumni Room.

The McDonalds food was good. Haha. Then Penny was entertaining us with her very own version of "Because of you..." AKA McDonalds commercial. Vanda and I spent the remaining time singing songs very off-tunedly and Penny guessed one of them correctly! YAYPENNY.

And we were still debating whether Roy or Edward (Fullmetal Alchemist) was hotter. o_o

Then we cleared up, and moseyed our way up to Conference Room C (B?), and watched Hero. It was so cool. I like their clothes, so flowy. Hahaha. The dramatic part was where Flying Snow fell down - she was twirling in mid-air before she flopped onto the floor. And the Broken Sword's hair flying about when he was writing the 20th style of the sword (jian4). Clarisse must be like so happy the jian4 was featured so prominently.

"Ren1 bu4 li2 ren2, jian4 bu4 li2 jian4" Stolen from Elaine, since I can't be bothered to do the pinyin.

Francesca (did I spell your name correctly, I think not x_x) said we would be watching another movie, also with Maggie Cheung inside it. Don't know if it's true or not.

Nothing much happened on Saturday. Just mulled around doing nothing.

OM presentations

We had the OM presentations by the nominated teams today. Yes, and all of the Secondary 2 groups that were performing were all from 210! You all did really well, good luck for the nationals! ^_^

And. And. Our Choir got GOLD WITH HONOURS IN SYF. I don't know why I'm so happy, since I have nothing to do with SYF, but well, I feel ecstatic that they've cliched it. So that was what the screaming below during lessons were about. Haha.

We had PE today for the first period. The softball likes me. And hates Vanda. It kept letting itself be caught by me and made Vanda run backwards to retrieve it. :D It was funnn. Pe is actually fun, if not for the warm-up runs.

And Mr. Ngiow came back today because of the Chiangmai visitors - I think he was to show them around or something, and he was like watching us do PE. Zhuoxuan was being crazy and waving to him wildly. Hahaha.

I was bored during Science watching Ms Lye repeat the DNA thingums over and over again.

We're going to watch Hero tomorrow during English. When Watson and Rayner gave him a furry white rat to play with (a live one, not a toy), Albert showed no fear; in fact, he was delighted. However, like most children, Albert was afraid of loud noises. When the researchers made a loud noise behind his head by striking a steel bar with a hammer, he would jump and fall sideways onto the mattress he was sitting on.

Having established that Albert liked rats, Watson and Rayner set about teaching him to fear them. Again they offered him a rat, but this time, as Albert reached for it, one of the researchers struck the steel bar. Startled, Albert fell onto the mattress. The researchers repeated this procedure several times. Albert began to whimper and tremble. Finally, they held out the rat to him without making the noise. Albert fell over, cried, and crawled away as fast as he could. Tests done five days later showed that Albert's fear had generalized to other hairy or furry objects, including white rabbits, cotton wool, a Santa Claus mask, and even John Watson's hair.

Unfortunately, Watson and Rayner lost access to Little Albert and so were unable to reverse the conditioning.

--Source: Psychology in Perspective (Third Edition) by Carol Travis and Carole Wade, page 190.
from: CLICKHERE

---

Interesting. D:

Mr. Ngiow leaves today.

ZHIRUI'S BLOG MADE ME CRY. D:

I used to hate him a lot last year, now I feel guilty lah. Especially when I was in his Maths remedial class last year. I hated staying back to do worksheets, when I could be in my nice computer lab surfing websites or go down to the canteen to eat before CCA started. I've never liked Maths very much at all, and got rock-bottom scores in my tests.

Come to think about it, he's actually quite a nice teacher. He never scolds. He extends deadlines when we complain about tests and quizzes. Just gives that weird sadistic smile when he's about to give homework. And leans on the OHP. Haha. To ditch a steady job and go out to start a business actually requires a lot of guts. Char kway teow, anyone? Just kidding. :P

Yeah, but I guess that we're all now so accustomed to how he teaches that now that he's leaving we feel kinda lost.

His teaching method:
- introduce new methods
- go through a few problems with us
- throws some questions at us
- leans on OHP while we possibly struggle over the question
- read Chinese newspaper (this was last year)
- walks around and sometimes corrects people
- calls unfortunate person up to give answer
- repeat.

My Maths results actually improved. I was so damn shocked when I found out I had one of the highest scores last year in some common test, when I failed some other test.

He's leaving to start a new business with his friend, and going for a break in Japan for two months. Apparently he likes Japanese culture. Why doesn't he read manga? Hahaha. He likes J-pop. And dogs. *holds out Jet, my Jack Russell Terrier* xD The whole lesson yesterday was spent asking him questions and we actually found out that he wasn't as boring as I thought. Used to call him 'stupid Ngiow' and all that. And then today during Language Arts he came over and took photos with us.

He's not going to lecture us anymore for coming late from PE, not going to wait outside the classroom anymore while we dawdle around after PE. Not going to lean on OHP anymore. Not going to read Chinese newspapers left on OHP anymore. Not going to smile his sadistic smile when giving homework anymore. Not going to drag people to Maths remedial anymore. Not going to give us sweets anymore. Not going to make lame statements when the question he gave us was copied down wrongly anymore. Not going to save ZhiRui from some random cockroach named XiaoQiang anymore. No more calling him 'stupid Ngiow'. Not going to teach us Maths anymore.

I hope he comes back to be a relief teacher for us some time. I think I'll actually miss him leh. Thanks Mr Ngiow for the sweets and the final lollipop, and putting up with us. All the best.

Maybe that's what they call you treasure something only after it's lost.

I wish this was just another April's Fool joke.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://caffeineandsugar.blogspot.com/2005/03/sad-d.html' title='SAD. Obviously that wasn't too feasible... And, Calean taught us THE irritating song! :D With some slight modifications...

I know a song (a song!) that will irritate you (you!)
I know a song (a song!) that will irritate you (you!)
I know a song (a song!) that will irritate you (you!)
And the song goes like this
dumdumdumdumdumdum (REPEAT)

Yeah, we added in the echoing because it sounded nicer. Haha. And we came up with some more versions of it.

'I know an irritating song for you', 'You are as irritating as this song', ecetera, ecetera. And we came up with some more about OM that should not be mentioned here. ;D

To-Do List:
- OM abstract
- <s>OM reflections</s>
- <s>LA theme - Education: Growing up (Jem) </s>
- Bao Zhang thingy = 0%
- Study for History Test Chapter 5 = 10%
- LA Journal on TKAM movie = 25%
- Science Journal = 5%
- CME SiA = 15%
- Chinese SiA = 0%

First week of school for Term 2 passed. So fast. ;_;

We painted our first pinchpot thingy during Art on Tuesday. I hate how I coloured my pinchpot. Eurgh. So ugly and stuff. But it was FUN. I was making a lot of blatant references to the Da Vinci Code by Dan brown and Fullmetal Alchemist on the pot. Was asking Vanda about the names of the 7 sins. Wahaha.

Then came PE on Thurday. SOFTBALL MODULE. I CANNOT BAT A LEVEL SWING FOR MY LIFE. And Chaiping and Elaine both caught flyballs, so we changed to batting and changed back again in like 3 minutes. Liwen is scary, she batted the ball to the bushes outside the general office, so poor Yujie had to run like hell to retrieve it. :0 FEAR THE BADMINTONER. Hahaha.

Was slacking and stoning there during the Project Work period yesterday. Penny was laughing like mad, as usual. PENNYPENNYPENNY. Haha. Supposed to do our reflections and plan our report. I HATE THE STUPID REPORT. *STABS IT* Obviously, we didn't quite do it. :3

Becoming more and more vulgar everyday. Must stop and become more si wen.

Went on to see my progress report. D: The AE on one subject particularly ruined it for me. ;_; MUST WORK TO DEATH IN TERM 2!

Dunno why, caught up in singing spree this week, Vanda and me and Elaine were like singing everyday. During class, during recess, after achool. Scary.

Okies. Must start on list now. :D

School tomorrow

School tomorrow. Oh yey. *is entirely not enthu about this fact* I should be in bed sleeping. Why am I still typing this entry?

Anyway, shall take a few minutes to show off two of my oekaki-work on PaintBBS, two of the nicest I think I've done so far. :P I think I'm addicted to having sparklies.
Two of my pets from Subeta again. I think I'm addicted to that site. <3

Now we shall go on to... UNFINISHED HOMEWORK. Yes, the great BaiHui has admitted to procrastinating. I can't help it, usually I stare at that pile of work and have an irritating urge to get it over and done with... but now... nothing. Don't feel any motivation at all. NOTHING. IT's FRUSTRATING ME, AND I DUNNO WHY.

Things that I have not finished:
-Lesson 15 Japanese Quiz (*dies at the full 3 pagesof vocabulary*)
-Science Worksheet 3.3 (*shakes head*)
-Maths Journal (entirely confuzzled)
-CME SiA (ugh)
-Chinese SiA (doubt anyone has started on this though)
-Filing of various worksheets
-LA Journal (this is no problem, I can easily write one during recess)

And probably a lot of whole other things I have clean forgotten.

I SEE NO DIRECTION IN WHERE I'M GOING IN MY EDUCATION. *ded* OHMYGOD THE ANGST. *wallows in pathetic self-pity* Ah, the stage where everything is swallowed up in angst. I'm going to look on later in my life at this PATHETIC teenage stage of ANGST and laugh at myself. Which brings me back to the question Mr Williams asked us during Peak Performance Workshop: "Why do you study?", and admittedly, I can find no answer to that that I'm satisfied with. I definitely don't want to become a lawyer, a doctor.... whatever. Just a nice artist slaving away at her commissions.

I think I'm becoming more nervous than usual. I keep biting my thumbnails. And this is HIGHLY UNUSUAL, because people who know me know I do not, EVER, bite at my nice fingernails. Not even a millimetre of that laughable nail polish/nail strengthener/whatever shit is going to get near my preciousses. And now I'm peeling away layers of keratin from my poor thumbnail. ;_; This started at the start of this year, directly after I started the new school term. It's annoying me, and yet I can't stop it.

I need something to keep me occupied. *runs off to work on commissions*
Comissions to do:
Fox Anthro for Kitsune-Fox - Planning
Diego-sama for Fiasko- Planning
Kuni for Coolcatz - Planning
And I can't get any inspiration whatsoever. ;_; Sorry guys, this might take a while.

On another note, a lot of people seem to be falling sick lately, so take care my dear peeps. :)

Again, this has been an entirely meaningless post filled with pathetic ANGST. Wahaha.

Geography project

Ugh, went to CompassPoint on Thursday to take pictures of Sengkang. I was stressing with Vanda over MSN, about the stupid geography project. We crapped about how we must study Sengkang (not like there's much to study anyway), which led to the teenager phase of ANKSTANKSTANKST, which led to the idea of dropping out (which was shot down by Vanda because of the MOE), to being homeschooled (again shot down by Vanda), to the IP system, to our eventual point that students all fresh out of University or something are like zombies that want to be doctors and fight cases.

LIKE, WHERE IS YOUR SENSE OF ORIGINALITY, MAN? Ahahaha. To me, if there was an option (and I don't think there is), I would quit school, and set up my own career as an artist, author, or something. The alternative would be I continue school, and then be a psychologist (I love dissecting people's minds, haha).

OM tomorrow, and somehow like one member from each Question 4 OM group (balsa) is in Byte Club. We had like RGS girls and Cedar girls also collecting donations and some other schools I can't remember at the moment.

People were giving us these weird looks when they passed by when we were waiting for the donation tins to arrive. Whatever.

---

Was rejected by a lot of people today for donations :( , and we were walking from CK Tang to Lucky Plaza and back and forth and back and forth. Feet were so tired. I only managed to finish a sheet of stickers (50, and some I just randomly stuck all over the place), while Mengyuan and Wenshi and some others managed to finish 2 sheets.

---

Well, very tired and quite irritated by the end of it, and came home, took a nice long shower and what did I do? SLEEP. :D

---

Not in the mood to do any homework.... Haven't updated this thing for so long. Didja miss me? Sure you did. :D

Lifeskills Camp was very exciting and a hella load of fun, although I slept from 3pm to 7am yesterday to today, that's like, 15 WHOLE HOURS. I amaze myself, hahaha.

1st Day, non-residential camp:
THIS WAS THE MOST HATED DAY OF THE CAMP. OM presentations were going on, and my group was the last group to present. They said our skit was boring and draggy and blah, and our structure was of the wrong dimensions, so we had to rebuild it again. To hell with them, I don't care if I don't get into nationals. Yeah, they tested the structure anyway, and the stupid pole was unstable so at one point it swayed, and our structure SWAYED WITH IT, LIKE SOME MORBID DANCE THING. It broke, anyhow. AND they told us to rebuild it and come back on the second day to test it with the other two secondary two groups.

So me and Shing Wai were like trying to build it after third language, and the glue didn't even have time to set properly. That I will elaborate on on the second portion. Shingy was like trying to get my dog to nod/shake his head, obviously it didn't work, BECAUSE MY DOG LOVES ME MOST. Hahaha.

2nd day, non-residential camp:
Ooh, this was okay. We went to the HSBC Treetop Walk, which was kinda disappointing cause it only lasted for a short while. The treetop walk thing, I mean. More than half of the time we were walking up and down yellow-rimmed stairs and wooden boards. Stumbled onto a lot of spiders, ants and other random insects. And we only saw the monkeys at the end of the entire thing where we were waiting for the bus. They were damn cute lah. One was like posing on top of the signboard and doing actions similar to Chinese Dance. Hahaha. On the treetop walk I was scared out of my WITS. Like, I was holding very solidly onto the rails on each side and inching my way over, and then we came to a stage where the entire thing was swaying, I was like trying to stop myself from screaming. Then, the distance between between me and Rachel was growing so I screamed at her to wait a little for me. Hahaha. And at the back I heard Tofu being scared and all that.

Then we went back to school, where our group waited for the judges to come out of the nice, air-conditioned LT2, only to be told to go back because they werene't ready yet, so I thought, okay, that's alright. We came back later at 1, upon request, and we waited outside for like 1 and a half hour before they finally got done with the whole presentations thingy. The other groups' structures couldn't even withstand the crusher board lah, and ours couldn't hold it steady. IF YOU FRIGGING PEOPLE COULD HAVE GIVEN US MORE TIME TO DO IT AND LET THE GLUE SET! Ugh. I was like fixing the joints in the car on the way to school, bleh. And the stupid pole was still unsteady. SO WE HAVE TO GO BACK NEXT THURSDAY FOR TESTING AGAINN.

I don't bloody care about OM anymore. They can like, give me an 'F' for all I care.

Yeah, and later on I was cheering in the mac lab because I heard that 2 OM Groups from 210 had gotten into the nationals, and I found out that I had actually sent the flash for Festival of Arts over to my gmail account, so that I didn't actually have to waste my time going back and trying to send it. Mr Lim was nice and let me use the lab for a while lah, then he encouraged us to do well for camp for tomorrow. :)

3rd day, residential camp:
I didn't hear the announcement in class because of OM the day before, so I went to school stupidly in track pants instead of the much comfortable shorts and skirt over it lah, hahaha, dumb me. We had Peak Performance workshop for almost the whole of the day, and Mr William was okay, even though he seemed quite fierce at first while ushering us into the Board Room. I was like, IS THAT A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS ARROW HE'S HOLDING? Hahaha, then he gave out this organiser, which was quite nice, but I don't think that I'll actually use it. I'm nearly all balanced, in Visual, Auditory, and Kinaesthetic(sp?), with a survey score of 6, 7, 7. Apparently I shouldn't sit near windows and at the back of the class, cause I tend to get distracted, which I AM BECAUSE I SIT AT THE BACK ROW AND AM IN THE SECOND NEAREST SEAT TO THE WINDOWS. I'm also mostly right-brained, which explains a lot because I am honestly not logical and all that. That's the reason why I probably fared so badly in my tests.

Then we had indoor rotation activities, which was just three stations. Station one, to fold origami and make a story, which we hastily slapped on at the last minute. Station two, to make a Chinese cheer and link up Chinese idioms, which were quite okay, and we got second place for linking the Chinese idioms, which was like the only prize we got, hahaha, for the whole camp. :P Third station, which was eerily similar to what we had to do for OM, to construct a structure at least 1.5m tall and made of only masking tape and newspaper (OM: To construct a structure at least 8 inches tall and to be made only of glue and balsa strips), we failed spectacularly lah, because there wasn't enough masking tape, hahaha.

Then we rushed to bath and all that. CHAOS, I TELL YOU, CHAOS. I felt guilty for yelling at them to shut the bloody hell up. And the male toilet was locked, so we couldn't use it, but when I banged on it there was this muffled voice inside, but later my classmates told me there was no one inside. FREAKY LAH. Or maybe I misheard it as the banging to be coming from the female toilets. o_o;

And then we watched To Kill a Mockingbird, and I coouldn't understand it half of the time because of the heavy southern accented voices, but Jem was cute, and Boo was like ultra-sweet, BUT. BUT, HE DIDN"T HAVE ANY LINES. UGHHH. Not even the 'Will you take me home?" line. AGH. He's damn sweet lah. Everybody screamed at the part where Bob Ewell attacked the kid, and when Boo was hiding behind the door at the Finches'. NO WONDER PEOPLE ARE SCARED OF BOO. I felt like dozing off though, because it was draggy and I couldn't make out what they were saying.

Sleep wasn't easy, I kept flipping about in my sleeping bag, and we woke up at 530 the nest morning, shuffled around lah.

4th day, residential camp:
Oohoo, the most interesting day of the camp. We went to Coasta Sands Resort, where we met our instructors Dawn, Alfred, and Fahmy. They were all very nice, yupp. So at first we had temabuilding activities with Dawn, which consisted of all 18 of us standing on a small piece of canvas and flipping it over completely. One thing that I learnt was that never to stand all together on a sheet of Canvas and attempt to flip it over. Then later we had to tie our legs together as a class as one whole line and hobble together a certain distance to form a circle around a tree and do a class cheer. Then later the distance was shortened so we only had to form a circle around Dawn, hahaha.

Then was the part where we had to learn a dance. Damn funny lah, I paired up with Rachel, and Sharlene and Hwei Ming (I think) insisted that we stand behind them so that when we turned to do the later dance steps they'll be able to see what to do. We sucked totally at the chacha part, hahaha. Alfred was like being gay with Daniel, ahahah.

Then we had lunch. Horrible, but okay when you're hungry and have nothing esle better to eat.

We went to do the rivercrossing, and i was exempted with some others because of um, obvious reasons, so we stood on a bidge and cheered our classmates on. Although we spent half of the time like goggling at the jellyfishes that cruised past under us - blue, pink, yellow, and white. So cool, them bobbing about. Then interesting things happened, in which Alfred called both Renice and Yujie aunties, Clarisse hugged Alfred, and Alfred told her to stop hugging him. She was like blushing larh. So obvious.

We later went to the swimming pools to do water activities, which I was again exempted of, and Elaine, ZhuoXuan, Rachel, Huzhe, Shingy and me (I think) were permitted to take our showers first along with the geppers when they were doing them, so we took turns to take showers, and I came out feeling very refreshed compared to the day before whn I didn't even bother to shampoo my hair. Yeah, me = spoiled. You don't have to tell me. The last activities (where 5 people had to strap their ankles together and wade from one end of the pool and back for a certain number of times) were damn funny lah, MayChew was like dragging the rest of her teammates while ChenChi was behind screaming and Glenn was like begging her to stop and slow down, hahaha.

Forgot to mention that I LOVE OUR NEW CLASS TEE, WHICH OF COURSE WAS A WHOLE LOT BETTER THAN LAST YEAR'S.

Then we all had our dinner.

D FOR DAISIES!
WE LOVE DAISIES!
IF YOU WANNA BE THE BEST!!
COME JOIN DAISIES!!

D FOR DAISIES!
WE LOVE DAISIES!
WE ARE ONE BIG FAMILY!!
DAISIES DAISIES WO AI NI!!

Then we had our campfire, which was a whole lot exciting although half the time I couldn't see where I was going because it was quite dark and I wasn't wearing my new glasses because I was quite scared of breaking them. 211 (or was it 212?) was like spreading the message of something along the lines of "Net is girlfriend of Yanli" or something like that. 210 all did our best for the campfire item so I think that we should give ourselves a pat on the back. YAY GO 210!! Was screaming myself hoarse that night, but surprisingly I came out of camp with a voice. Then after all of the performances we did the chicken dance which was hilarious, and 210 strung together into a circle plus instructors plus Ms Lye (I think), and Alfred like went from one end of the circle to the next to find Clarisse, which he did, and HUGGED HER. Hahaha. Promise me that I'll be the one designing the wedding gown and the wedding invitations, hahaha. :P Then it was all quite sad lah, what with Westlife's songs playing and us saying goodbyes to them, and we went back to school at 12 midnight. Alfred finally told us his surname, which was Yeo, but we expected it to be See lah, but anyway it makes a nice ring with Clarisse's. Yeo Look = Yo, Look! Ahahaha.

Was damn tired and flopped into bed without even bothering to brush my teeth.

5th day, going home!:
Woke up groggily and made a beeline for the breakfast later on, vewry hungry but something felt like puking when I sytarted on my milo. The Shoebox project was canceled so we didn't know what was that all about, and proceeded on with our telematches. We didn't win for the telematches, but we all did our best and I really feel that our class ties are stronger now compared to earlier where everybody was spilt up into their own cliques. (=

I found out that I missed my bed. My computer. My dog, Jet, who kept barking and wagging his tail and licking me when I returned home.
